1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy sets out how Hironari Takahashi ("we," "us," or "our") handles user information in the Listory iOS application (the "App") that we provide. By using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

2-1. Account Information

• Email address
• Username and display name
• Profile image, profile background image, and biography
• If you sign in with an Apple or Google account, the identifier and email address provided by that service

Authentication is handled using the authentication infrastructure of Clerk, Inc. Passwords are not stored on our servers.

2-2. Content Created by Users

• The text of posts and information about linked songs (such as song title, artist name, and artwork reference)
• Comments, reactions, reposts, and quotes
• Live event records (text, setlists, venue information, and uploaded photos)
• Moments (posts combining images, text, and stickers)
• Following and follower relationships
• Report details and information about users you have blocked

2-3. Preference Information

• Favorite artists and favorite genres
• Your selected music streaming service

2-4. Information About the Paid Plan (Listory+)

• Transaction identifiers issued by the App Store, products purchased, expiration dates, and subscription status

Payments are processed by Apple. We do not receive payment information such as credit card numbers.

2-5. Device and Usage Information

• Device tokens used to send push notifications (APNs device tokens)
• In-app activity events (such as screen usage and the number of times features are used)
• Crash information and operating environment details when the App terminates unexpectedly (such as OS version and device type)
• Information collected by advertising providers to display and deliver advertisements

We do not collect location information, contacts, or health information. Only when you add a photo to a Diary, and with your permission, the App displays the photos within the access you granted and uploads only the photo you select to add to the Diary.

3. Purposes of Use

• Providing the App, managing accounts, and authenticating users
• Displaying posts, generating feeds, and providing features for interaction between users
• Suggesting songs and users based on preferences
• Determining paid-plan entitlements and managing subscription status
• Sending push notifications
• Responding to inappropriate content, processing reports, and investigating violations of the Terms
• Investigating problems and improving quality and features
• Displaying advertisements
• Responding to inquiries

4. Third-Party Services We Use

We use the following external services to provide the App.

Except as described above or where required by law, we do not provide user information to third parties. We do not sell user information.

5. Advertising

The App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. Advertisements are displayed when you use the free version and are not displayed while you are subscribed to the paid Listory+ plan.

The App does not track users across other companies' apps or websites for advertising purposes. Advertising is configured to always be delivered as non-personalized advertising. Therefore, the App does not request permission under App Tracking Transparency.

6. Push Notifications

We store your device's push notification token to send notifications about follows, reactions, and similar activity. You can disable notifications individually in iOS Settings or in the App's settings.

7. User Posts and Visibility

Posts, comments, live event records, and similar content are displayed to other users according to the visibility setting you choose. A post set to "Everyone" can be viewed by anyone who uses the App. Please do not include information that infringes the rights of others or information that you do not want used to identify you.

8. Reporting, Blocking, and Moderation

The App includes features for reporting posts, comments, live event records, and users, as well as a feature for blocking users. We review reported content and, if we determine that it violates the Terms, may hide or delete the content or suspend the account. We retain report details and records of our response to prevent recurrence and conduct investigations.

9. Retention and Deletion

• Accounts and posts are retained until the user deletes them or for as long as necessary to provide the service.
• Users can delete their own accounts from "Settings" in the App. Deletion removes account information, posts, comments, live event records, uploaded images, following relationships, and subscription links.
• Information subject to legal retention obligations and the minimum records necessary to prevent misuse may be retained for a necessary period after deletion.

10. Age

The App is not intended for use by anyone under 13 years of age. If you are under 13, please do not use the App. If we learn that we have collected information from a person under 13, we will promptly delete it.

11. Security Measures

Communications are encrypted using HTTPS, and access to servers and databases is limited to what is necessary. However, we cannot guarantee absolute security for communications and storage over the internet.

12. Trademarks and Third-Party Content

Apple, the Apple logo, Apple Music, and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. Other company names, service names, and logos mentioned are trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners. The song information, artwork, and stickers displayed by the App are obtained from the services that provide them.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Policy in response to changes in laws or the addition of features. If we make material changes, we will provide notice in the App or on this page.
